Youth Group
Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold,
I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth.”
“Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’;
for to all to whom I send you, you shall go,
and whatever I command you, you shall speak.
for I am with you to deliver you,
declares the Lord.” (Jeremiah 1:6-8 ESV)
At Luke 10:27 we believe that there is no age that a person can step into their identity and destiny in Christ. We hope to lead all of the youth into this confidence that the Lord will speak to them and use them in mighty ways, just as Jeremiah, the author of this scripture, was used.

Tony Simmons – Youth Ministry Leader
While Tony has always had a heart for teaching and guiding youth, he considers learning from them even more rewarding. He has felt a calling to work with youth for many years, which is obvious by his enthusiasm. Tony previously assisted with the youth group at Comite Baptist Church in Central for about two years. He is very excited to be joining the team at Luke 10:27, where he and his family have attended since it was founded. Tony is engaged to his wonderful fiance and high school sweet heart, Courtney Williams. Currently, he is a studying Chemistry at Louisiana State University and is employed through LSU Information and Technology Services.
