We welcome everyone! We are a loving group of people with all sorts of backgrounds. There is much more to Luke than our worship services, but Sunday is great place to start. Come and join us!

What do Sunday worship services look like at Luke 10:27 Church?
Casual. Loving. Family-oriented. Welcoming. Musical.
What time should I arrive for Sunday worship?
The worship service begins at 10AM. But lots of people come early to say hello to one another and catch up.
And if you would like to participate in our Sunday school offerings or Bible study, they begin at 9AM.

What happens during our informal worship service?
One of the leaders of Luke will get things going with announcements about future events or what we have all been up to during the week.
Then, our worship team leads us in songs of praise. You can sing along reading the lyrics that are projected onto our screen. Stand up or sit down, even dance if you like.
After that, Leslie, our founding pastor, will bless the children of Luke.

Next, one of our elders will bring the Word of God through a sermon.
Our sermons are encouraging and peppered with personal stories related to the relevant scripture. And they generally last 20-30 minutes.
After the sermon, we celebrate Holy Communion followed by a Benediction as we follow the light of Christ out into the world.

What should I wear to Sunday worship services at Luke?
Come as you are. There is no dress code. No need to wear your “Sunday best”.
Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.
Can I bring my children to Sunday worship services at Luke?
Absolutely. Children are a huge part of Luke and are always welcome.
Sunday school for children and youth both start at 9AM and adults are welcome to join our Bible study and small groups. They also begin at 9AM.
During the 10 AM worship service, you can use our cry room and/or our nursery.

Will I be expected to do anything or give any money?
You won’t be embarrassed or bored or asked for money.
We do take offerings each Sunday, but they are intended for people committed to the Luke family, not visitors.
You will be warmly welcomed and encouraged in your spiritual walk with God.
And we hope you will want to come again!
Will I feel out of place with the Luke 10:27 church family?

We are a diverse group and we are proud of our diversity. There are people from all walks of life, various ethnic and racial backgrounds, and even different countries at Luke, and each has their own story.
We make a huge effort to be gracious and kind to everyone. You are so welcome to join us!
