Sunday School for Youth – Our Vision
- Establish relationships:
Introduce students to a relationship with God the Father through His Son Jesus. See students develop relationships that keep them connected to the body of Christ for a lifetime. - Equip students:
Equip students with an understanding of their identity in Christ, leading them in the discovery of their created purpose, so that they can complete the set of good works for which they were created. - Empower students:
Just as Jesus sent his disciples into the world, our prayer is that students would be prepared and sent out in the power of the Holy Spirit to be his witnesses to the world.

Paul sums up best what the ultimate goal for church relationships should look like when he says:
For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.”
~ 1 Corinthians 4:15

True Ministry is about Relationships
In most churches today, the work of the ministries is carried out by a few paid staff and maybe a few highly motivated volunteers.
The leadership model of the Elders at Luke takes on a more shared role regarding the work of the ministry.
Instead of one pastor, there are multiple people that share the pastoral role and the teaching position is also shared.
Chris & Kathryn Martin lead our youth ministry.
